Set switches 1 to 8 to the site code of the 4618/9. Set switches 9 to 10 to the

device number. The alarm channel triggers odd numbered zones. The

tamper channel triggers even number zones. For further information refer to

the 4618 Installation Guide.

4612

Set switches 1-10 to the site code of the 4612. The tamper channel triggers

channel B. The alarm channel triggers channel A.The 4612 must be in 2-

channel mode. For further information refer to the 4612 Installation Guide.

Switching On

After coding switch on the battery. Find switch 2 of the small black 2-way DIL

switch (marked BATT). Set to ON using a terminal screwdriver or ball point

pen. The transmission LED lights and the unit transmits an open tamper

alarm as the case is open. If your unit shows low battery operate back

tamper switch five or six times at five second intervals. The sixth and subse-

quent transmissions should give a normal transmission.
